SYDNEY: Adam Scott has reunited with his US Masters winning caddie Steve Williams as the Australian attempts to revive his on course fortunes, the PGA Tour said on Tuesday.
The pair mutually parted company at the end of the 2013-14 US season in part because the 50-year-old New Zealander wanted to cut back on his travelling schedule.
But after struggling to just two top 10s and a tied 38th at the Augusta Masters, Scott decided to part ways with Mike Kerr last week and reunite with Williams.
“Steve was adamant that he was not going to caddie in 2015, so he took some convincing, but I am very happy he’s agreed to help out,” he told the PGA website of Williams, who was on the bag when Scott won his first career major at the 2013 Masters.
“We’ve had great success together, so I’m looking forward to being on the links with Steve again.”
