Mian Iftikhar seeks NAP implementation
PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) general secretary Mian Iftikhar Hussain has said that terrorism could not be eliminated without implementing the National Action Plan (NAP) in its true spirit.
Through a statement issued here, the Awami National Party leader demanded a judicial inquiry into the attack on the Peshawar High Court judge. Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that due to the tension on the eastern border, the terrorists were hitting soft targets to create an environment of fear in the society. The Awami National Party leader said that terrorism had not been defeated completely, adding wiping out terrorism was possible when the government implemented the NAP. He said that despite tension on the eastern border, the internal security should not be ignored.
