Rangers to tighten security for PSL matches
A meeting to review the security measures adopted for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) was held at the Sindh Rangers Headquarters on Wednesday.
The spokesman for the paramilitary soldiers said the meeting was chaired by Director General Sindh Rangers Maj-Gen Muhammad Saeed. The meeting was attended by Karachi’s commissioner and additional inspector general, the additional IG of the Counter Terrorism Department Sindh, the additional inspector traffic, the DIGs of East, West and South, the CTD and the Special Branch of the Sindh police, and Rangers’ officials.
The meeting discussed the law and order situation in the city and especially focused on the upcoming PSL matches to be held in Karachi, and it decided to adopt extra security measures and avert any terrorism activity.
