LAHOREL Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Central leader Jehangir Khan Tareen has said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has been convicted by the NAB court and asserted that there would be no deal with him.
Talking to media outside Punjab Assembly Monday, Tareen, also the PTI’s former secretary general stated that Nawaz Sharif was already receiving medical treatment in Pakistan and there was no reason that he should be sent abroad. He said the issue related to the deal between Nawaz Sharif and the government was only highlighted in media but in reality, there would be no deal.
Responding to a query related to the ongoing tug of war between Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry and Special Assistant to PM Naeem-ul-Haq, he said the matter should not have come to media.
He said there were no differences between the two and the matter would be settled soon. To another query, he said the PM had been elected through the votes of the MNAs whom the people of Pakistan elected and sent to the parliament. Responding to a question regarding his meeting with Abdul Aleem Khan, former Senior Minister, Jehangir Tareen replied various issues came under discussion.
Jehangir Khan Tareen, during his visit to Punjab Assembly called on Aleem Khan who has been in the NAB custody. Aleem Khan is attending the PA session after the issuance of his production order by Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
