Pak players bow out of World Squash Championship

ISLAMABAD: First round of the PSA World Squash Championship turned out to be the last for two Pakistani players, who succeeded in making it to the main round.
Pakistan No 1 Tayyab Aslam lost to lower ranked Victor Crouin in four games. The Frenchman won 9-11, 11-2, 11-5, 11-6. The match lasted just 41 minutes.Another Pakistani qualifier Shahjahan Khan also lost his first round match against Chris Simpson (England) in straight games.
Shahjahan gave good account of his game but went on to lose the match in 56 minutes. He was beaten 12-10, 11-7, 13-11. He twice succeeded in stretching his opponent in extended game.
