Two dead, as many hurt in road accidents
FAISALABAD: Two persons were killed while two others sustained injuries in separate road accidents here on Sunday.
A rashly driven van hit a parked truck on Gojra-Pensara Road. As a result, Qamar Abbas of Chak 21-JB received serious injuries and died on the spot while Ali Irfan of Taj Colony received multiple injuries and shifted to Allied Hospital for treatment. In another accident, Muhammad Adnan was killed while Muhammad Sajid suffered injuries when a recklessly car hit a rickshaw near Adda Dijkot. The injured was shifted to a hospital.
Seminar at GCUF today: The Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) will organise a seminar on ‘Role of Life Science graduates in Health Industry’ at GCUF new campus on Jhang Road on Monday (today).
According to the GCUF spokesman, the Department of Physiology and Biotech Scientific International would sponsor the event. Researchers and scientists across the country as well as from abroad would read their research papers and deliver keynote lectures.
