Plant a tree

While launching the spring campaign at Nankana Sahib a few weeks back, the prime minister said that the government has set a target of planting 10 billion trees all over the country in the next five years.

The importance of tree plantation is undisputed. There is a need for a mass awareness campaign for tree plantation which is indispensable for the survival of humans. Also, trees have a good impact on social and economic life in multiple ways. It is necessary to have a tree plantation drive in order to avert the negative impacts of environmental degradation, soil erosion and other natural calamities.
