Arrest of Durrani condemned

SIALKOT: Various PPP leaders on Friday condemned the arrest of Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani. Talking to journalists here, PPP leaders, including Ch Zahid Bashir, Ch Azhar, Ali Naseer Awan and Babar Shaheen, termed they arrest of Durrani a targeted action, which could harm democracy in the country. They said that the PPP leadership was united and ready to face any challenge.
SIX POWER PILFERERS HELD: On the report of the Gepco officials, police on Friday arrested six power pilferers. They are Safeer Hussain, Majid Ali, Shaukat Ali, Saddam, Tufail Shah and Naseer. The police have registered cases against them.
