LAHORE: The Counter-Terrorist Department (CTD), Bahawalpur, arrested two suspected terrorists of a proscribed organisation on Friday. CTD officials conducted an intelligence-based operation and arrested two alleged terrorists namely Dost Muhammad alias Dosu and Ata Ullah of disbanded organisation Balochistan Republican Army. Two kg explosive material, detonators, time devices and five hand grenades were seized from them. They revealed that destruction of main gas pipeline in Bahawalpur was their major target and they were funded by commander Baghi of Balochistan Republican Army, who is in Afghanistan, to complete the target. They also confessed that they were involved in two previous such attacks in Rahimyar Khan.
