Huzaifa, Lubaib, Zaman win inter-school squash event
KARACHI: Huzaifa Ibrahim, Lubaib Butt, and Mohammad Zaman won titles in the 1st PAF Base Malir Inter School Squash Tournament which concluded here the other day.
In the final of under-15 category, Huzaifa of DHA School thrashed Hurera Zafar of Fizaia Faisal 3-0.Lubaib Butt of Fizaia School Malir overpowered Basit Khan of Fizaia Faisal 3-2 in the final of under-13 category.
In the final of under-11 category, Mohammad Zaman of St Michael defeated his schoolfellow Adnan Zaman 3-0.Fizaia School Faisal defeated City School 2-1 in the final of the team event.Hurera Zafar overpowered Rohan Amjad 3-2 in the first match but Basit Khan lost to Azan 1-3 in the second match.
Mohammad Ibrahim smashed Affan 3-0 in the final clash to help his school claim the title. There were 48 players from over 20 educational institutions of the city in the event that was held at PAF Base Malir Officer’s mess squash courts.
