ISLAMABAD: Two leading Pakistan juniors Huzaifa Abdul Rehman and Shoaib Khan got off to winning start at the expense of foreign players as the Syed Tajammul Abbas ITF Pakistan World Junior Ranking Tennis Championships finally sprung into action at S Dilawar Abbas PTF Tennis Complex, Islamabad.
Talented Huzaifa who is also seeded No 1 in the competition proved too powerful for French boy Lucas Schurdevin during his 6-0, 6-3 rout while Shoaib Khan (PAK) was also seen in attacking form beating Talal Albdullah (KUW) 6-4, 6-3.
All the remaining seeded players except third Seed Saqib Hayat, moved to next round by beating their respective opponents in the first round.
