GUJRANWALA: People have shown concern over several hours unscheduled power loadshedding in the city and its adjoining areas.
Talking here on Friday, the people said that they were facing problems due to unscheduled power loadshedding, which had caused numerous problems for them. They said that power shutdown had also caused water shortage in their areas. The people demanded the authorities take notice of the issue.
MAN INJURED ON RESISTANCE: A man was injured during a dacoity incident on Race Course Road on Friday.
Two bandits stopped motorcyclist Shahid and snatched Rs 12,000 from him. They shot at and injured him on resistance. The injured was shifted to the DHQ Hospital.
ELECTED: The Gujranwala Cantonment Board has elected its Kisan Board and minority members here.
Haroon Rashid was elected on Kisan seat and Babar Masih on minority seat during a meeting held in the chair of the chief officer who performed duty as a returning officer.
