National Hockey C’ship to be held in March, April

KARACHI: The 65th National Hockey Championship will be held in March-April at Gojra’s newly-laid astro turf, sources in the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) informed ‘The News’ on Saturday.
All PHF affiliated units and departmental teams will participate in the championship. NBP will defend their title.
The National Under-19 Championship will take place at the Nasir Bunda Hockey Stadium, Islamabad from February 19.
As many as 12 teams will feature in the tournament. The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) will provide free accommodation to all the participating teams.
