ISLAMABAD: Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Senator Sirajul Haq while welcoming Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman’s visit to the country has expressed the hope that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan will join hands to pull the Muslim world out of the mire of problems.
In a statement, he said that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan were linked together in eternal bonds and the relations between them were time old and unshakable. The two countries were like two bodies with a single soul, he added.
The JI chief said that late King Faisal Shaheed considered Pakistan as his second home and the grand Faisal Mosque and the International Islamic University in Islamabad were the manifestations of his love for this country.
Sirajul Haq said both the countries were centre of the Muslim Ummah’s hope. He said the Saudi Crown Prince’ visit to this country was happy news for the entire Muslim world. He said that Saudi Arabia being the custodian of the Haramain e Sharifain was the real leader of the Muslim world. The Muslims all over the world offered prayers with their faces in the direction of the Holy Kaaba, and visited Holy Makkah and Madina for Haj and to pay their respects at the Roza e Rasool (Peace Be Upon Him).
