A major fire broke out in a local garment factory on Friday causing a loss of millions of rupees.
According to the Central Fire Station, the fire broke out in M Kaka Industries, situated in North Karachi Sector 16-B; it spread to other parts of the factory within minutes.
The fire was allegedly caused due to short-circuit.
Eight fire engines of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) managed to douse the fire after over five hours.
