In the first round, Naveen Perwani (Sindh) outplayed Azhar Khan (Pjb) 3-0 (66-39, 61-0, 66-33). Imran Shehzad (Pjb) also won with ease beating Arshad Ali Qureshi (Isb) 3-0 (65-31, 59-16, 60-37)
