LAHORE
Mujahid Force on Sunday held a flag march with an objective to maintain peace in the provincial metropolis in connection with the security arrangements for the Zimbabwe Cricket Team.
About 100 officials of Elite Force and around 80 vehicles participated in the march. The flag march passed through Mall Road, Club Chowk, Canal Road, Gaddafi Stadium, Kalma Chowk, Liberty Chowk, Main Market Gulberg and culminated at Qurban Line.
NH&MP: Inspector General National Highways & Motorway Police Muhammad Saleem Bhatti has said that providing help and guidance to the commuters, besides their counselling, was the hallmark of Motorway Police and it should be continued in all circumstances.
Addressing a Police Darbar at Central Zonal, he said that they would raise the faith and confidence of the people. He said that motorway police was the only department of spectacular traditions. He said the department would modify and improve the training syllabus as per latest preferences, modern needs and targets and it would help the trainee officers fix their direction. The carrier planning & promotion system of NH&MP would further be improved, he added.
