CHAKWAL: Police arrested six people over stealing electricity on Wednesday.
SDO Muhammad Sarfaraz lodged a complaint with the City police that Babar Shaukat of Basti Malangan, Moula Bakhsh and his brother Akhtar Meeran Bakhsh of Basti Malangan were stealing electricity from the main line.
SDO Jawaid Qaisar of Wapda sub division Bhagwal told Sadar police that Ghulam Abbas stole electricity from the main line.
SDO sub division Khanpur Abdul Raheem told Dhudial police that Nazar Hussain and Fayaz Imdad of village Bheen were stealing electricity from the main line. Police also seized 38 electricity meters.
