MULTAN: Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen deputy secretary general Allama Amin Shaheedi has said that the PML-N candidate is using government resources in PP-196 by-polls.
Addressing a press conference at the Multan Press Club on Tuesday, he alleged that the PML-N candidate was violating code of conduct in PP-196 by-polls and all the government departments had been put at the disposal of him in the by-elections. He said that the MWM had fielded Engineer Mehr Sakhawat as a candidate and he was fighting against misuse of public resources. Commenting on law and order situation, he said that the RAW agents led by a banned outfit were busy sabotaging the law and order situation in the country, adding that the government was not very much committed to eliminate terrorist networks. He said that the government was not implementing the National Action Plan. He said that the Parliament had passed the 21 amendment giving protection to military courts but the amendment was not truly followed. He said that the PML-N government had failed to maintain law and order situation in the country. Shaheedi demanded indiscriminate operation against terrorists.
