BAHAWALPUR: Dozens of affectees of Peshawar Bara Market fire on Monday staged a demonstration on the silence of Bahawalpur MNAs, MPAs and district administration on their losses.
The affected shopkeepers of the market chanted slogans and said that if such fire had erupted in Lahore or elsewhere in Upper Punjab, the CM would have reached on the spot and had announced financial help for the affectees. They demanded immediate compensation for the affected shopkeepers.
BODY FOUND: An unidentified dead body of an old man was found from a drain near Chak 209 Murad, Chishtian, on Monday. Police have sent the body to the THQ Hospital Chishtian for post-mortem.
