Two traffic cops among five booked

GUJRANWALA: Satellite Town police booked five people, including two traffic policemen, for creating law and order situation here on Sunday.
Three brothers - Abdul Rehman, Haseebur Rehman and Nabeelur Rehman – were allegedly quarrelling with two vendors - Waris and Usman - over a minor issue outside the police station. Hearing noises, the police took them to the police station to settle the issue but Abdul Rehman and Haseebur Rehman, both traffic cops, allegedly misbehaved with police.
TWO ARRESTED: The FIA arrested two illegal money exchangers at Urdu Bazaar, Sialkot, on Sunday.
FIA Inspector Sajjad Haider Bajwa and others raided an illegal currency exchange office and arrested two accused Nadeem and Kamran. The FIA also recovered $60, 1,000 Saudi Riyals and Rs 137,000 from them. A case has been registered.
CRACKDOWN ON QUACKS: Kamoke City police booked a quack and four medical store owners for selling spurious medicines here on Sunday.
The Health EDO and the assistant commissioner raided the clinic of quack Attiqur Rehman and sealed it. They also caught four medical store owners for selling fake medicines.
YOUTH COMMITS SUICIDE: A 21-year-old youth committed suicide at Kalarabadi on Sunday. Saif ended his life by consuming poison. The motive behind the incident is said to be a domestic dispute.
