JHANG: District Officer (Roads) Dr Rizwan Nazir Saturday said a big amount was being spent for the completion of different uplift projects in the district.
Talking to reporters, Rizwan said construction would be completed of link road Chak Wakeel Wala to Toba Road with Rs 0. 94 million; link road Kot Umer Draz to 18 Hazari with Rs 1.96 million, link road Garh More to Diana More with Rs 2.43 million and construction of link road from bypass to Moza Bagh with Rs 7.2 million.
He said roads construction would be completed within specific period.
He said construction of roads in flooded areas by utilizing Rs 90 million was also in progress. Rizwan said the relevant officers have been asked as there was no compromise on quality of the material.
