Aimed to curtail violence and extremism and to promote peace and harmony among youth, a civil society organisation organised a painting and singing competition.
During various competitions youth competed with each other in the fields of painting, arts, singing and acting. They highlighted idea of peace, tolerance and harmony by using visual arts to attract the people of the country.
“There is a dire need to harness the energies of youth especially in countering violent extremist mindset in the society to bring peace in the country” said Ayub Sajid, director of the Organisation for Development and Peace (ODP).
