CHAKWAL: Provincial Minster for Human Rights and Minorities Khalil Tahir Sandhu Thursday said the Karachi incident was the reaction to $42 billion Chinese investment plan in Pakistan.
Addressing an interfaith religious harmony peace conference at Chakwal Press Club, the minister said anti Pakistan forces wanted to destabilize the country and do not want to end loadshedding.
MPA Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Dullah, DCO Mehmood Jawad Bhatti, DPO Dr Moeen Masood, Raja Mohammad Umar, Muhammad Nazeer Dheri, Muhammad Khan Aqil, Syed Ahmed Ali Shah, Maulana Mehmood ul Hassan Ghazanfar, Babu Yousaf Masih, Bishop Munawar Aziz, Father Sohail Mubarak, Chairman CPC Khawaja Babar Saleem Mehmood and others also spoke.
They stressed national unity to counter terrorism.
The minister said Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had directed all district administrations of the province to constitute interfaith bodies to resolve issues at local level.
Earlier, the minster also visited the digital library of the CPC.
