Tayyab out of Pak Open Squash

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s only hope Tayyab Aslam crashed out of the Pakistan Open, suffering four-game defeat against top seed Karim Abdel Gawad (Egy) in the second round Thursday.

The Egyptian who is favourite for the title beat Tayyab Aslam 11-6, 11-13, 11-5, 11-2 at DHA Asif Nawaz Squash Complex, Creek Club Karachi.

Also making it to the next round are Mazen Gamal (Egypt), Ivan Yuen (Malaysia) and Nafiizwan Adnan (Malaysia), Mostafa Asal (Egy), Arturo Salazar (MEX), Karim El Hammamy (Egy) and second seed Diego Elias (PER).
