The Turbat-Panjgur road project was started in 1992 during the first government of Nawaz Sharif. It was one of biggest projects of the country because if this project was completed then Pakistan could greatly benefit from trade with China. But in 1995 the work on the project was stopped when Nawaz Sharif was removed from office.
After 20 years this project has started again but the law and order situation in the province is hampering its development. People are facing many difficulties due to this incomplete project.
