Almost a week has passed since Dr Waheed-ur-Rehman was gunned down but the police seem to be getting no closer to finding out who was responsible for his murder. To vent their anger against the slow progress in the case, frustrated teachers and students recently blocked the University Road. No matter how grave the situation is it does not warrant actions like blocking roads, etc, and that, too, by a community whose first duty is to teach respect for law.
It is a mystery why in this modern age the investigation is taking so long since we have CCTV cameras installed all around. The slow investigation is not only contributing to the unease among KU teachers and students but also hurting academic activities.
