Certificates and gifts among 85 candidates, including 26 women of 5th badge of Police Driving School and Chief Minister Rozgar Scheme were distributed in a ceremony held at Traffic Police Lines, Thokar Niaz Beg on completion of their training on Wednesday.
Famous columnist, Orya Maqbool Jan was the chief guest on the occasion. Around 1,313 candidates have completed their training under CM Rozgar Scheme.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Traffic Police Officer (CTO), Tayyab Hafiz Cheema said women were taking special interest in driving. He said they were using all the available resources to enlighten the citizens about traffic laws.
