AN Additional District and Sessions Court Tuesday acquitted three accused persons giving them the benefit of the doubt allegedly involved in killing a man during robbery.
The judge acquitted accused Waqar Bashir, Sabir Aslam and Muhammad Faisal from murder of Tariq Javed in the Defence-A police precincts.
According to the FIR got registered by one Imran Farooq against unidentified persons, he, along with Tariq, was walking in a street when three unidentified accused persons appeared and started looting them at gunpoint. Tariq resisted, on which they opened fire on them, owing to which Tariq lost his life. Later, the police arrested the said accused and submitted the challan before the court. The court after hearing detailed arguments acquitted the said accused giving them the benefit of the doubt.
