Youm-e-Ali (RA) celebrated

LAHORE: Youm-e-Wiladat of Hazrat Ali (RA) was celebrated on Sunday with religious zeal, fervour and devotion. Different ceremonies were held to pay tributes to Hazrat Ali (RA) for his leadership, bravery and service to Islam. Strict security measures were taken by the police to maintain law and order in the city.
The main ceremony was held at Minhajul Quran Secretariat. A large number of people including religious scholars, professors, students and people from different walks of life attended the ceremony.
Addressing the gathering, central Nazim Minhajul Quran Ulema Council Allama Syed Farhat Hussein Shah said Hazrat Ali’s (RA) life was a role model for the Muslims. The gathering was addressed by Allama Usman Sialvi, Allama Muhammad Hussein Azad, Mir Asif Akbar, Allama Imdad Ullah Qadri and others. The speakers paid rich tributes to Hazrat Ali (RA) and stated the wisdom, bravery, courage, valour, piety were the key characteristics of his life.
