KARACHI: Makran FC secured their place in the semi-finals of All-Karachi Muslim Khatri Association Golden Jubilee Football Tournament when they beat Maymar Sports FC 3-2 on penalty kicks here at Noorani Eidgah Ground in New Karachi.
At the end of the regulation time, the match was locked at 2-2. Mohammad Arif scored both goals for Makran FC, while Sadeem and Sammun scored one each for Maymar Sports to level arrears. However, Makran FC overpowered Maymar Sports on penalty kicks.
Meanwhile, Frontier City FC secured their place in the quarter-finals of the tournament after defeating Shah Faisal Nazimabad FC by 4-2 score on penalty kicks.
