An FIA team led by Assistant Director Asif Ali Wednesday conducted two raids and recovered seven illegal gateway exchanges.
The first raid was conducted at Bahria Town and the second raid was conducted in Samanabad area. The team recovered credit cards, mobile phones, computers, gateway exchanges and other equipment. The team arrested six people in the raids including Ali Hassan, Idrees Zia, Humayun Imtiaz, Daniyal Wazir, Shakeel Ahmed and Muhammad Usman Saeed. In another raid in Shahdra area, FIA recovered three illegal gateway exchanges.
Meanwhile, an FIA team raided three factories in Sheikhupura and detected gas theft worth millions of rupees and arrested accused Masroor Hussain, Umar Khateeb and Muhammad Naeem.
