Man commits suicide after killing father-in-law

FAISALABAD: A man committed suicide after killing his father-in-law and injuring his wife at Chak 232/RB in Factory Area police limits on Monday.
Kiran Naveed had been living with her father Khalid Hussain after developing differences with her husband Naveed Ahmad. On the day of the incident, Kiran with her father Khalid and other relatives came to the house of her husband Naveed Ahmad for reconciliation. During negotiation, Naveed became infuriated and allegedly gunned down his father-in-law Khalid and injured his wife Kiran. Later, the accused also committed suicide by shooting himself. Police have registered a case and started investigation.

Ahmad Nawaz of Chak 547/GB had exchanged hot words with Shahid Ranjha and Ghulam Nawaz during a football match about four days ago. On the day of the incident, Ahmad Nawaz was allegedly gunned down by Shahid Ranjha, Ghulam Nawaz and others. One Shahid Hayat was also injured during the firing. Police have registered a case.
