CHAKWAL: Member Board of Revenue (Punjab) Malik Tahir Sarfraz Awan Monday said the Punjab government has computerized land record and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif is enhancing more powers of DCOs to provide more facilities to the people.
Awan stated this while talking to revenue officers of Rawalpindi division in a meeting at DCO committee room.
The locals of tehsil Lawa were also present, who apprised the committee of problems faced by them regarding enlistment of legal heirs of the deceased people.
Awan said the problems of the locals would be minimized and patwari and his basta culture would be eliminated and land record of the Punjab would be on a click in near future.
Awan also visited digital library at Chakwal Press Club, where Press Club chief Khawaja Babar Saleem Mehmood briefed him on different issues.
Khawaja also presented his historic book to Awan.
OVER 60 BOOKED: More than 60 people were booked in two cases for violating Amplifier Act in village Broun during two events of bull races.
The Amplifier Act was violated during bull races arranged at two places in the same village.
SI Mohammad Ashraf, of Kallar Kahar police station booked Ijaz Nazar and others who organized a bull race without getting permission from local authorities.
Allah Bakhsh, Mohammad Safdar and Mohammad Ishaq were busy in aerial firing and loud speaker was being played.
Police also booked scores of people who also arranged the bull race without permission. Aerial firing was conducted by this group members and no check was on the misuse of load speakers. Police have registered two separate cases against the accused.
