GUJRANWALA: A child was killed and another injured in a road accident at Abdullahpur in Qila Didar Singh police limits on Saturday.
Six-year-old Faisal and three-year-old Kashif were playing in a street when a tractor-trolley hit them. As a result, Faisal was killed on the spot while Kashif was injured. Police are investigating.
Newly-married girl commits suicide

GUJRANWALA: A newly-married girl committed suicide over a domestic dispute at Dhulley on Saturday.
Parveen had been living with her parents after differences with her husband Rafiq and in-laws. On the day of the incident, Parveen ended her life after her father-in-law called her and gave divorce threats to her.
Hospital accused of swapping newborn boy with dead girl

GUJRANWALA: A woman and her relatives staged a demonstration against a private hospital for allegedly swapping her newborn son with a dead girl.
They chanted slogans against the hospital administration.
Talking to newsmen, Nazia of Haideri Road said that she gave birth to a baby boy at a private hospital. On Friday night, her newborn son fell ill and she took her to another private hospital where the hospital administration allegedly swapped her newborn son with a dead girl.
Later, the family filed a petition in a court, which ordered the DNA test of the dead girl. The test was being conducted at the DHQ Hospital till the filing of the report.
