Three murder convicts hanged in Faisalabad, Gujranwala From Our Correspondents FAISALABAD: A murder convict was hanged in the Central Jail here on Thursday. Zafar Iqbal of Mughalpura was hanged in the presence of a magistrate, a doctor and the jail officers. The prisoner had slaughtered a woman on resistance during a dacoity at Amin Town on November 10, 2005. He was awarded death sentence by a sessions court. GUJRANWALA: Two prisoners were hanged in the Central Jail here. They are Abdul Jabbar and Ijaz Ahmad. They had committed murders in 1995 and 2005. After the execution, the bodies were handed over to their families for burial.
