Soldiers honoured

This refers to the news report, ‘COAS confers military awards on soldiers’ (April 15). The army chief conferred 30 Tamgha-e-Basalat and 33 Sitara-e-Imtiaz on soldiers taking part in Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
Our leadership – both civilian and military – deserves credit for sincerely fighting against terrorism. It is hoped that their efforts will bear fruit and peace and prosperity will return to our soil once again.
