SHC moved over Moazzam Ali Khan’s detention

Karachi:The detention of Moazam Ali Khan, alleged to have facilitated the murder of former Muttahida
Quami Movement (MQM) leader Dr Imran Farooq in London was challenged by his family in the Sindh High Court (SHC) on Monday.
Sadia Bano submitted that her spouse was picked up by the Rangers personnel from his house, in Azizabad block 8, Federal B Area on April 12. She said the family members had approached the Azizabad police to seek information regarding his whereabouts but the SHO gave no clue of the detainee.
The court was pleaded to direct the home secretary, director- general Rangers, IG police, SHO Azizabad and other officials to produce the detainee in the court of law along with the details of the case.
