Islamabad: The National Book Foundation (NBF) held an inaugural ceremony of the Holy Quran published by the NBF. The ceremony was held at the NBF Head Office and it was attended by the officials of the NBF, says a press release.
NBF Managing Director Professor Dr. Inam-ul-Haq Javeid, while speaking on the occasion, said: “The NBF has the honour to publish the Holy Quran on glazed paper with Islamic calligraphy along with word-by-word translation”.
“The Holy Quran contains injunctions, principles and teachings of Islam related to every sphere of human life and guides one in one’s life. Therefore, it leads us towards eternal success in the present and hereafter life. It is a complete code of life”, Dr. Inam-ul-Haq said.
He thanked all staff members of NBF who contributed in publishing the Holy Quran. He said that the NBF is printing textbooks and preparations are in full swing for holding the 6th National Book Day. He advised staff to work hard and diligently with team spirit for completing all assignments well in time.
The National Book Foundation offers the Holy Quran for ‘Hadia’ of Rs350 and another one with the translation for Rs700. The members of Readers Club can get 55% discount on the Holy Quran from NBF Bookshops throughout the country.
