UAF indigenous on-campus training ends

FAISALABAD: The University of Agriculture Faisalabad’s the 7th five-day indigenous on-campus training concluded on Saturday.
The training, arranged by the Office of Research Innovation Commercialization (ORIC), UAF as an initiative of Higher Education Commission, was aimed at sharpening the management and administrative skills of the staff. The concluding session was chaired by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan.
Addressing the participants, Dr Iqrar said the UAF was making all-out efforts to flourish the agriculture sector with trained manpower and researches. He said keeping in view the latest demand the UAF has paced up its outreach programme to transform the knowledge at the doorstep of the farming community. He said skilled manpower will open up new chapter of progress for the country.
ORIC Director Prof Dr Asif Ali said we need to get the benefit from the modern technologies, saying that training was aimed at polishing the skills of the administrative staff.
The trainers included Quality Enhancement Cell Director Dr Ahrar Ahmad Khan; Director IT Farjeel Javed, Computer Sciences Chairman Tasneem Mustafa, Assistant Prof Dr Saqib Ali, Lecturer Salman Afsar, Lecturer Wajeeha Azmat, Ayesha Asghar and others.
