Higher Education Commission officials awarded laptops to the students of the IBA- Sukkur on Friday under the premier’s laptop scheme.
More than 270 laptops were distributed among the undergraduate students of the Sukkur IBA as per the merit list. The presented set given by the HEC to students included a laptop, an internet USB device and a laptop bag, IBA Sukkur spokesman said.
The Registrar IBA Sukkur Engineer Zahid Hussain Khand, respective head of departments and representatives from the HEC distributed laptops among the students. While congratulating the students, Registrar Sukkur IBA appreciated the efforts taken by the government for the promotion of education in the country.
In the earlier laptop distribution ceremony, around 90 of the Sukkur IBA Phd and masters level students had benefited from the PM laptop scheme through the HEC, IBA Sukkur official added.
