PML-N, PTI award tickets to candidates

SIALKOT: The PML-N and the PTI have finalised their candidates and awarded them party tickets for the upcoming Cantonment Board elections here.
The PML-N leadership has awarded tickets to Zahid Shamsi in Ward 1, Waheed Ahmad Malik in Ward 2, Mushtaq Ahmed Qadri in Ward 3, Malik Muhammad Ashraf in Ward 4 and Atif Munir in Ward 5. Similarly, the PTI awarded tickets to Babar Ali Khokhar, M Gulraiz Sheikh, Rashid Asif and Syed Ahmad Raza Shah for the same wards. According to PTI leader Kh Muhammad Akhtar, his party would support an independent candidate Pervaiz Iqbal in the elections.
