BAHAWALPUR: The Young Doctors Association Bahawalpur chapter on Thursday staged a demonstration to press their demands.
The young doctors gathered outside the operation theatres in the Bahawal Victoria Hospital where they staged a demonstration for the approval of service structure by the Punjab government. Later, the protesting doctors took out a rally from the hospital, which ended at the same place after marching through Circular Road.
Speaking on the occasion, YDA leaders Dr Tanveer Bajwa, Dr Asad and Dr Nasir Wakeel demanded immediate approval of the service structure for doctors and implementation on it. They vowed to continue the protest till the approval of the service structure.
Youth murdered, 10 relatives injured for land

BAHAWALPUR: A youth was killed and his 10 relatives were injured over a land dispute at Kotla Bakht Ali in Abbasnagar police limits on Thursday.
Muhammad Aslam alias Panu Khan was stabbed to death and his 10 relatives were injured by a group, which wanted to illegally grab their land. Police have started investigation after shifting the body of Aslam to a hospital for autopsy.
