Yemen repercussions

It is quite clear from the debate in the joint session of parliament that hardly any political party (except perhaps the PML-N) is in favour of our interference in the Yemeni conflict.
We must stay away from a direct military intervention as our hands are full with fighting terrorism, internal sectarian and proxy wars. We just cannot afford to divert the attention of our armed forces and further inflame our internal sectarian strife.
