Telenor launches 3G phones

KARACHI: Telenor Pakistan will launch Easy 3G and Smart 3G phones from April 15, a statement said Tuesday.
It will be available at Telenor sales and service centres and franchises as well as in selected mobile shops across Pakistan. In order to enhance the reach of these devices to the customers, Telenor Pakistan has appointed i2 Pakistan as the distribution and warranty partner with over 800 collection points.
The price range of these handsets will be between Rs3,500 and Rs3,900 for
Telenor Pakistan Chief Marketing Officer Irfan Wahab Khan said, “We are witnessing higher demand for 3G and healthy uptake across all segments but especially in rural and low income segments.”
Telenor Pakistan also brings 18 months warranty for its customers with the launch.
