Haris clinches title at Junior Tennis championship

KARACHI: Haris Irfan-ul-Haq won the final of 16 and under singles of PTF Development Series Junior (national ranking tennis championships) at PTF Tennis Complex, Islamabad, on Monday.
Haris thrashed Abdul Sami 6-0, 6-0 in the final of the category to clinch the title. Earlier, in the second semi-final of the category Abdul Sami defeated Muneeb Sajid 7-5, 6-4.
Similarly, in the final of 12 and under singles Sami Zaib beat Abdul Wahab Anwar 6-3, 6-1. Earlier, in the semi-finals, Abdul Wahab Anwar smashed Huzaifa Khan 6-1, 6-0.
In the semi-finals of 14 and under singles, Waleed Anwar won against Abdul Sami 6-0, 6-2 and Hamza bin Rehan beat Abdul Wahab 6-1, 6-1. The Finals of under-18 singles and under-14 singles will be played on Tuesday (today).
