Neo-colonialists

This refers to the letter, ‘Tribal state’ (April 02) by B A Malik. The only thing that has changed since 1947 is that white colonial masters have been replaced by brown masters.
A few thousand families have usurped power in the country and ruling over 180 million people. They have their assets and interests abroad. People remain colonised by the new masters and parliament, and the police and the executive are there just to deny justice to the ordinary people. Liberation remains a dream for them.
