FAISALABAD: Jamaatud Dawa ameer Hafiz Muhammad Saeed has said that all Muslim countries should raise their joint army to effectively frustrate the nefarious designs of the anti-Islam forces, which want to harm them.
Talking to newsmen at Markaz-e-Khyber, Nishatabad, on Saturday, he welcomed the announcement of the Arab League to raise the Arab countries’ army for joint defence of Arab states. He welcomed the successful dialogue between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the Turkish president regarding support to Saudi Arabia. He said that an alliance of all religious parties of the country was in the offing to evolve strategy for defence of the Muslim countries. He asked that Muslims to unite to foil anti-Islam activities. Hafiz Saeed appealed to the Iranian government to play its role for unity of the Muslim countries. He said that Saudi Arabia always stood with Pakistan in the hours of need, therefore the Pakistan government should take measures for defending and safeguarding the sovereignty of Saudi Arabia.
