Rubber-stamp parliament

Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif told the National Assembly that parliament will be taken into confidence if a ‘decision is taken’ to send the army to the Middle East.In countries where rubber stamp parliaments do not exist decisions are taken by parliament and the government subsequently acts on them.

In countries where rubber stamp parliaments do not exist decisions are taken by parliament and the government subsequently acts on them. It is not the other way around.
