Senate chairman seeks report on ransacking worship place

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani on Thursday sought report from the Ministry of Human Rights and Ministry of Interior on the ransacking of a worship place of Ahmadis in Sialkot, as PPP Senator Quratulain Marri raised the issue in the Senate.
On a matter of public importance, PPP Senator said she was shamed and appalled by the negation of the Quaid-e-Azam Ali Jinnah’s vision, as another worship place of Ahmadis had been allowed to be ransacked. She sought the chair’s intervention in the issue, who sought a report from the Ministry of Human Rights and Ministry of Interior in this connection.
